<strong>Sacromonte<\/strong> of Orta, located on Lake Orta, houses a Way of the Cross formed by a series of chapels with paintings and statues depicting the life of Saint Saint Francis, frescoed by local artists.\n <strong>Domodossola&#8217;s Sacromonte<\/strong>, on the other hand, is famous for its 15 Baroque chapels depicting the Passion of Christ.\nGhiffa, on Lake Maggiore, on the other hand, is home to the <strong>Sacred Mount of the<\/strong> <strong>Holy Trinity<\/strong>, with its imposing basilica and a series of richly decorated chapels.\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px; letter-spacing: -0.18px;\">The <strong>Colossus of San Carlone<\/strong><\/span> in Arona is a 35-meter-high statue representing St. Charles Borromeo, one of the region&#8217;s patron saints.\nThe <strong>Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso<\/strong>, the complex is built on a rocky outcrop that provides an exceptional vantage point to embrace all of Lake Orta and the mountains at a glance.
